Content
Collection to Create Your Web Site
The first thing that we will do, in conjunction with
your project staff or yourself, is to establish who your targeted
audience is and what type of content will captivate them to your site.
With that established, we will then proceed to design and develop
your Web site discuss formal goals, objectives and strategies. All
ideas will be assembled into a comprehensive, coherent format to best
represent the unique mission of the client. Existing content in the
form of current marketing brochures, magazines, photos, and written
documentation will be collected. Technical assistance will be given
to assist in this collection of data. Additional text and graphic
material provided by you will be incorporated into the design of the
web site. On-line forms, sound, video and animation clips can all
be used to enhance the site.
Story-Boarding
Once all content has been assembled and the strategies
and goals articulated, a story-board will be created including all
hyper text links between the web pages i.e., site architecture for
efficient maneuverability. The client will review and approve the
draft story board.
Draft
Web Pages
After the story-board has been approved, a draft rendering
of the Web pages will be produced. All textual materials will be optically
scanned or typed in, or supplied by your print designer. The written
content will be proofread and spell-checked by computer and by our
staff. All graphic elements including graphics, photos, titles, etc.
will be inserted. Special programming related to interactive forms,
mail reply forms, and other data collection elements will be applied.
After the draft web pages are created, a demonstration of the completed
presentation will be given for suggestions and review. Based on any
oral or written feedback resulting from the demonstration, final versions
of the pages and the complete web site will be constructed.
Web
Page Validation
All web pages published on our server are validated
to ensure the integrity of their HTML code, making your web site available
to the widest possible audience. We also take great care to see to
it that your documents look good across multiple platforms and on
the most popular WWW browsers. In fact, prior to publication we examine
your Web pages at different screen resolutions, and on several browsers
for maximum compatibility.
Acceptance
for Internet Publication
A demonstration of the web site will be presented to
your, your project staff and or appropriate project supervisor(s)
for final approval.
The Launch
on the Web
After the web site have been approved, it will be digitally
transferred and published on our Apache web server. A period of about
one week is suggested for proper testing of the on-line product(s)
before an official launch date/press releases/announcements occur.
After a satisfactory testing period, you may begin to publish the
Internet address (URL), location of the Web site in advertising and
marketing materials.
Maintenance
Once the site is in place, you will want to keep it
fresh, to keep repeat visitors interested. Talk to us about monthly
or quarterly maintanance plans to add new information, products, graphics,
etc. We can even train your staff in basic to advanced site design
and managment.
